Summer Rolls Temple City Reviews (1280)
Small restaurant with indoor & outdoor seating. I came on a hot day & all their windows were open so it was a little warm for me. They had quick, friendly service, I appreciate them constantly refilling my ice water. I got the vermicelli cold noodles with charbroiled pork & shrimp egg rolls. It was delicious!! It was a huge bowl with generous portions of meat. I highly recommend this place, just visit on a cooler day lol less
I wasn't a huge fan of their other dishes but the summer rolls don't miss so 5 stars since it is their name. Great for lunch, a light dinner, to eat there, or to go! It's in a plaza so there is parking, although usually busy, and they have a a little outdoor seating area. less
Summer Rolls is my favorite Vietnamese restaurant to go to for, you guessed it, rolls! They have the best fried eggs rolls, yummy spring rolls (my favorite is the neum rolls - pork meatballs), they also have a tons of other appetizers! Try their rice vermicelli as well. The restaurant is nice, busy at times, but very inviting to dine-in. Checking the parking, may be busy at times when it's the lunch hour and on the weekends. less
My go-to place whenever I am craving some nem nuong cuon (pork nem spring rolls), since Brodard's is too far from me. The shrimp eggroll adds such a nice crunch, and I love the dipping sauce with a little chili sauce in it. This location is the "hipper" location that serves craft beer and has a patio and outdoor dining area. I only wish the hours were a little longer on the weekdays instead of closing at 8 PM. Besides spring rolls, I also like their vermicelli, although the portion does look smaller despite the inflation. Summer Rolls is also known for their bun bo hue, which I usually get at the OG location in Rosemead. And of course, banh beo is a fun appetizer to share if you like fish sauce on rice flour. This place can get packed during the weekend, so be prepared to wait or come on an off day. less
One of my favorite Vietnamese places! I'm obsessed with Banh Beo and never get a chance to eat it that much. Theirs is super good and I would inhale the whole thing by myself if I could. It was my first time having Nem Chua Nuong (Charboiled Pork) and it was so yummy! One of my new favorites Dog friendly patio + they serve alcohol!! less
Delicious Vietnamese food in SGV 626 area. I've been coming here for many years with family and friends and usually order the chicken spring roll, lemongrass beef spring roll, lemongrass beef with vermicelli noodles and chicken rice plate. Service is excellent and the workers work very diligently to be attentive. Ambience is chill and has an open window area connected to an indoor patio. Plenty of parking in the lot of garage. less
The portions here are huge, which is great! They have a great variety of Vietnamese food on top of the rolls that they're known for. My friends and I shared the pork nem and lemongrass chicken rolls. The rolls are huge and definitely shareable amongst friends. They give you 4 for each one. I also got the banh beo bc I was craving this appetizer. I don't like this as much. They give you 12 pieces with fish sauce. But the rice cakes were sticking to the dishes and not slurpable. It felt like they might have been overcooked. We were outside and it was comfortable. The food came out quickly and the staff checked up on us relatively often. Parking is pretty limited as this is in a popular plaza, there is underground garage parking though. less

If you're looking for a broad replacement, that's closer than Orange County look no further than some rolls in Temple city there are two locations both on Rosemead Boulevard one is the OG location that's south closer to the 10 freeway and the other is north near las tunas Cant go wrong with either location, however the one closer to the 10 fwy is more traditional The nem nuongs are super fresh and delicious The best ive had in los angeles Tasty, crispy, and fully of flavor Service is impeccable The newer location is hip and trendy 10/10 would recommend. The vermicelli is also very good less
